The short version, in plain words
Terms
These guides tell you what to look at. They are not an inspection, and they are not advice about a specific car.
What you are buying
A digital document, delivered as a PDF straight after payment. There is no physical product and nothing is shipped.
The right of withdrawal, and why it ends at download
EU consumer law gives you fourteen days to change your mind about a purchase. For digital content that right ends the moment delivery starts, provided you agreed to that at the checkout. You will be asked to tick exactly that box. Until you do, the fourteen days stand.
If the file will not open, or you were sent the wrong car, write to us and we will fix it or refund it. That is not a legal right you have to argue for — just email us.
What the guide is not
It is written from documented faults, workshop practice and owner reports, and it is checked by a technician before it is sold. It still cannot see the car in front of you. Nothing in it replaces an inspection by a qualified mechanic, and no purchase decision is ours. Where owners genuinely disagree, the guide says so rather than picking a side for you.
Work on a car carries risk. The safety notes in the guides are there because they matter — a hot cooling system, a running engine, a car on a jack. Follow them.
Copyright
The text and layout are ours. Buy a guide and it is yours to read, print and take to a viewing, as often as you like. Please do not republish or resell it.
Photographs are used under their own licences and are credited on the page and in the document. The cars pictured are not for sale.
Payment and VAT
Payment is handled by our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record: it charges VAT at the rate of your country, remits it, and issues your invoice.
